if you're from MT and it's gonna be your only skis go for the patent but if you already have a pow ski go for the park specific ski, at least that's what I would do

anyway yeah, they are a sick ski. i have a pair and ive only ridden them once but i love them for rails. havent done any real terrain yet.

Such a legit ski. Being a tall dude it was good to have a good stiff ski for jumps that is offered in a 184.

my recommendation is that if your on the taller side, rip StepUps. If your under 6 ft and want a buttery ski get afterbangs.

A similar ski aside from stiffness.

Hella dope ski, really reliable and good for almost any part of the mountain. i would not ski POW on dem but they are hella sik skis

I ride the 184 Stepups and am totally stoked. Stiffer and more durable than Afterbangs, great everywhere in the park and also very adaptable to all-mountain riding. The width is superb for stable landings on jumps and helps keep 'em afloat in the crud, while the stiffness keeps them stable at speed. Two thumbs up.

So far after 2 days i like em it took a bit getting used to never skiing a true park ski before. I was getting thrown around in chopped up glades. I finally have been able to start doing better taps and what not and actually pop a nollie.
