Line Step Ups Broken or Fixed?

I recently took my twin tips to see of they could be fixed because the tip of he ski's base, metal edge, and the top have come apart. I was wondering if anyone has had that happen to them or if they know I it could be repaired?

This happened to a pair of my skis and you dont exactly use the edge right at the tip, so i just cut it out and filed the corner neatly and had no further worries. although over time the base will peel a little bit.

forgot to mention I got it professionally put back in with resin and all first but it came back out a week later anyway

It's called a Delam you can first put epoxy in between the base and top sheet and clamp it for a few days and if that doesn't work just go to a shop.

Happened to my friends masterminds. The base split away from the tip. He didnt fix it and eventually it split all the way down hal of his ski and had to get afterbangs

Happened to my step ups too, just put epoxy in between, then rivet them together, if u use epoxy only, it will eventually come apart. If you dont have rivets or a gun to do it, what i did is, i just put some skate screws trough with some epoxy, then cut the excess part off, has held as good as the rivets, and since its on the tip, they wont get on the way, even on the hardest butters.

If you're doing the skate hardware thing, you'd be better off getting truss head bolts, like this

The pan head on a skate screw will dig in to the base/topsheets, depends on where you put it. I mean, it probably won't be a huge difference, but at least to me it seems like a better idea for no additional cost.

i couldnt pass up on a deal for 2012 salomon threats i liked

i rode them like my armada thalls..........few hippie killers and now i have the same problem

ive never had a single delam with armada or line. salomon rossi and k2 however (-k)

Some leftovers from my broken skateboard trucks.. And i did it myself, took like 2 minutes, all you need is a drill to make the holes.
