Line Step up?

My local shop has a pair of 2012 176 line step up's marked down from like $600 or something to $300. I already have bindings that I can throw on them (marker griffons) and I know the guy that works there so he said if I bring a boot and bindings and pay in cash, he'll mount them and everything for $300 straight up, no tax. Is this worth it? Or are there some better options out there online or something for the same price.

I was thinking of either using these as my new park ski (jumps and rails) and using my '14 line chronics for more urban or the other way around

If any of you guys owned a pair of step ups let me know how you liked them. Also does anyone know why they were discontinued?

Step-Ups I don't think ever retailed for anything over like 450 I would hang on to the money if you're not looking specifically for step-ups.

From the reviews I've seen on the internet it looks like its a solid park ski for jumps and stuff... Do you think it would make sense to use that as my park ski then use my 171 line chronics as a urban ski?

I just found them for $230 online

Yeah I've found some good prices online too but after converting the USD to CAD and adding on the shipping cost, it works out to about the same or even more than 300
