Line skis suck this year

Every pair of lines from this season are in shit condition. My buddy’s included. The tails of his blends don’t have a base anymore and the tips completely de laminated. Since the 19/20 season of skis none last more than a season. Also the graphics on most of the skis has been bad besides last years chronic and blend. I think line is on the down.

My SFBs have been holding up fine. But I don't think their quality is great, lots of dudes here have been complaining about their shit recently.

My sfb’s are pristine and I have not been kind to them, then again most of my skis don’t last longer than a season, so maybe just lower your expectations and be stoked when you get days on a ski without any damage, but don’t worry if they do. Epoxy and ptex are both cheap and easy to use

You think last year’s Chronics were good graphics?! Those were like the worst in my mind. All other years are so much better

Wasn’t it the green and black with like birds on it? That wasn’t my favorite I’ll agree lol

Yeah they were pretty fucking ugly. Was strange, cause the SFBs of that same year were super clean.

Yeah they were. There was a 20€ difference last February between 19/20 and 20/21. Normally I’d probably opt for new model for 20€ but I was like “hell no.” 19/20s do have, maybe, my favorite chronics graphic ever though to be fair

I loved my line chronics from this year. The graphic is amazing, they are incredibly fun to ski. However it only took 20ish days for my tail to completely delam and its starting to happen on the other ski as well.

kinda meant to say the honeybadgers from 19 were sick and so were the blends

I have some line vision 118 and the topsheets seem to be doing fine other than the bases are pretty beat already after only skiing ~4 days

line died completely after pollard left. graphics are the worst they have ever been and quality seems to hit an all time low. the last good line graphic was the unknown pleasure blends.

I saw a kid with last years chronics in the line on Sunday, getting close up to them they just didn’t look well constructed or quality in any way. My 18/19 sfb’s fully delaminated after a season of skiing. Crazy to me that people still buy line when you can find more durable and higher quality skis for the same price or less

lines graphics are so god damn ugly. if they sold the blend in the all white graphic i thinj more people would cop.

too bad the only to get a hold of those is to buy them from grant lewis nick cage guy for $600

My boy's edge ripped out after 3 weeks on new honey badgers, two whole feet of it. They were already in bad condition well before that happened. Overseas manufacturing, no quality control, poor customer service, but HEY! margins are fat (and diabetic)

There's definitely better skis that you can get for the same money. If you get a prodeal its better, I was able to snag my SFBs for 250, but imo they're not worth paying retail for.

Yeah unfortunately this is what happens when you go from a core brand that makes a name for itself building fun, innovative and quality skis to a subsidiary cog in the K2 machine. Next year looks pretty bad too. Graphics got worse and I think they're dropping the Vision skis, which makes zero sense with how big the backcountry touring market has become.

They do support a lot of skiers who are outside the comp and big ski movie scene though. So I'll give them props for that.

This is my justification for buying lines. Pro deals make buying skis super pain free

then make it better smh. prove the haters wrong type of deal. Invade the factory. They cant stop you if you got that passion.

Damn they really switched up the construction this year ???

Does anyone remember these? Line Invader from 2006 (so manufactured in 05). Pretty sure it was the last year they were made in Canada. They were famously very fun and not durable at all, so this isn't a new thing.
