Line SFB and Salomon shift decent first touring setup?

Hey!

I have a pair of 2018 Line Sir Francis Bacon skis that I use for powder and pretty much everything but park skiing. Would like to do a little bit of touring this year and have been thinking about getting a pair of the new Salomon Shift binding as I would still be able to use my skis with my Full Tilts when I'm not touring (correct me if I'm wrong here). Curious what you think about this plan, would this be a decent setup to try some light touring and still rip around the slopes 90% of the time? Would of course need a pair of tech boots too, in which case would I be able to use something like the Salomon S-Lab 130 boots in normal alpine bindings to when I want something stiffer than my full tilts?

Yep, this would be a cool first setup. You could also just have CAST put a tech toe in your full tilts, and then they'd tour with SHIFT too.

Just get educated before you head out the gates!

Ya this should be sick! I'm throwing the shift on a pair of Mordecai's so I can kinda do it all on them this season too
