Line Prophet Flite or Volkl Bridge

Need to buy a ski for overseas (U.S) 2 weeks in Salt lake and 3 weeks in Big Sky.

Work at ski shop that stocks both.

Opinions on whats better for all mountain/pow/park. Please.

A lot of people like the bridge, but i didn't like it at all. One of those skis which is ok at most things, but good at nothing. Felt too much like a park ski for all mtn riding- but that might be good for you depending on how much park you ski.

I loved the Prophet 100. Why are you looking at the flite? Not like it is an overly stiff ski in the regular version with metal. I found the Prophet really snappy and responsive underfoot, and performed pretty well everywhere. Too much sidecut for some though. Great ski. Probably one of my favourite all around skis available.

Prophet won't be as good in the park, but will be better everywhere else IMO.

havent skied the prophet, but I really like bridges. They are certainly a stiffer ski but they have a good sidecut for all mtn riding. I have not taken them into the park but I know that preform fine. I think that you would probably be happy on either ski, though.

I am with the guy who said the P100. The bridge just kind of felt lame comparatively. Like he said, decent at almost everything, but nothing special everywhere as well. The p100 cuts a groomer, sick in trees or pow. Only area it isn't great is the park, but it is still decent. But you are in SLC and Big Sky, I hope you are traveling all that distance for park skiing :)
