Line Mastermind? Marker Griffons?

Hi, I am considering to buy the Line Masterminds for next season, I would love to get some feed back on them! I am 5'1, 95 pounds, I ski mostly freeride, and big mountain, but I started to ski park a little more this season. I skied on a pair of 2010 155cm Afterbangs, but felt a little heavy, were not that good for all mtn, and just not the ski for me. This year I learned some basic stuff like front and back 270's out, 720's, and 360' with a couple grabs. Next season I want a lighter ski, that handle rails well, skis all mtn good, and is skis well on small and medium sized jumps and other features. Lastly, bindings, I am leaning toward the Marker Griffons, I also heard the Rossingol fks 14 is really good. Thank you for your feedback it will help me a lot.

If you are going to buy new skis that are good for all mountain, do not get the Masterminds. If you are going to get new skis, spend a little bit more money

and go for a pair of Line Chronics or Line Traveling

Circuses. (I'm just assuming you want a pair of Lines.) They both handle All Mountain and Park

well and are fairly light.

As long as you're not skiing any pow, you'd be fine with mastermind. i ride '12-'13 masterminds 176cm with marker griffons and i love them

if you can even hit a medium sized jump and do stuff off it like a 7, then the masterminds are not for you. I knkow too many kids who aren't big, so they thought the masterminds would be perfect, then they all ended up breaking them. every single person I know who has less quality line skis always breaks them before the end of the season. My friend was about your size last season and before there were even jumps on the park he broke 2 pairs of that years masterminds in a week. he wasnt even going hard he was just hitting the big boy features and skiing, so yeah maybe something a little more durable

You should take a look at the Line Chronics and te Moment Jibs. The Chronics work great for all mountain and for park. They are also light. The Moment Jibs are more focused on park but they're light too.

Alright man, I just watched your edit. There is no way with your size you broke 3 pairs of griffons in 1 season. Plus you were hitting 3-5 foot cliffs and 10 foot park jumps. Thats not gonna break a griffon in 5 seasons. Lets say you did break 3 pairs of griffons. Why would you keep buying more? It just doesn't add up.

I have heard nothing positive about the Masterminds. I've only heard of them breaking, so I wouldn't get them. As for good park skis: Line Traveling Circus, Atomic Punx, Line Chronic, and K2 Domain. The Domains are lighter then people say they are. I have a pair and when I put them on I can hardly feel them. They're also extremely buttery, so if that's what you're looking for, they would be good. They are supposed to be durable too, I just haven't had them long enough to determine that. As for bindings, both of those would be awesome but I'd get the Rossis

Thank you every body for the great advice, I will defiantly NOT get the Masterminds. The two skis I am highly considering getting (one of them) are the Line Chronics, or the K2 Domains. Another option is I might just keep my old Affterbangs. The Afterbangs are 155, and Chronics, and Domains come in a 164, is it worth getting new skis considering I'm not that good at park, or should I just keep the ones I have?

I'm 14, and I've been skiing for 11 years, but this year I really started skiing a lot of park. I normally ski freeride and big mountain.

Will you be skiing mostly in the park? If so do the Domains! But the Chronics will be able to handle all mountain more than the Domains will.

Thanks, I will probably go with the domains, tell me if you know any other park skis you think that would be good for me. Thanks.
