I had masterminds... They lasted me a whole season, then snapped the at water ramps on my first jump. No joke. They served me well through the whole season, were a little flimsy, but I did like them. I have different skis now.
Not to be rude, but line masterminds are the buttonhole of skis. They will not last you more then a couple of months. I can personally say all of this because of bad experiences I had with them. I highly advise you to avid line skis.
Line Skis makes some quality skis, it's just that they put out the mastermind as a sarcastic product. Something to lure people into buying them because they are the lightest and the flexiest skis out there (which they are, but maxing out those characteristics really makes for a bad ski). If you can, exchange them and get a better ski. I hope they aren't already mounted.
I think people are assuming that OP is not a little kid who is stoked on his first pair of skis. If you're a kid the skis will be fine, you will probably like them a lot. If your like 15+ you will like them but you will probably be heavy enough to turn them into noodles in a season.
