So im in the market for new skis,
lookin at some this years line elizabeths. does anyone have any input on my current decision?

I dont mean to be a dick but put that into the search bar and there's so many threads about it, and give people some description of what you want to ski and how big you are.

But there super soft and really fun to ski. I like them the best in the woods because they're really turny. Some people ski them in the park, but I have another ski for that and don't really like them too much in the park, but read some reviews i wrote a super long one a while ago

ive tried the 08s in the park and their super sick!

their nice and wide and super soft so their great for pow, a little much for park, but their still nice, their really stable on rails and landing switch on jumps feels crazy smooth

my bad.... i prob should have put some extra rider info in there

im like 5'8 - 165

i spend most of my time in the back country, but i like to ride the park too (prob like a 70 - 30 ratio) and i just want something that can do both.

did anyone find them too short for a back country ski even tho they are pretty meaty?
im on a 169 now and a 172 isnt much bigger

I wish they were a little longer for when I'm not in the trees but the shorter length is sick in the trees. However they do dive a bit in powder but if you stay back on them its fine. Basically this is the perfect tree ski that is fun to ski on groomers and messing around, decent in park but if you're serious with park you'll want something else, they're not meant for straightling open bowls or any shit like that, they're pretty much a slow speed ski that's a blast to ski on

if your going to be doing alot of backcountry and pow i would def go for bacons or live lifes becuase i feel that my lizzys are way to short at times in pow and they arent that good in choppy shit at the end of the day especialy in steeper terrain and im the same size as you

they seem like they are fun in the park but are they easy to throw around when doing tricks and anyone kno how much they weigh?

im like your same heigth and weight and i just bought 182 sir francis bacons. and i ride 169's for park as well. ill tell you how it goes in a few days

yeah let me know how that goes cuz im thinking of the bacons too...

i have a 169 fugative too so we are in the same boat

you should wait a little bit cause a fellow nser said he was gonna put his lizzies up in a thread for cheap. give him a week or so. hes a legit seller.

last night i talked to eric pollard him self and i asked for him to make longer beths and he said no beacuse there his own line and hes mad short so the sizes he has are made just for him. bummer :(

since i have no life.....

i looked at how the beths, bacons and ep pros compare to his height in the model videos on lines website. I'm pretty confident in saying that pollard is 5'7 or 5'8.

the beths come about 4cm short to the top of his head.

the ep pros come about 6 to 7cm over his head.

if i where you i would go with the bacons...i think you will like em better in the pow.

they will perform in the park just fine.

ya theres a guy at my hill that slays the park with his bacons, but ive seen pics of him doin bc with em as well

i ended up buying them... adn im 5'8... they are amazing... buttering has never been this easy... and they have the sickest bases ever

Question about them:

I am looking into them for next season and they will be my only ski (for everything). I am in park about 40 days of the year and in pow (6inches+) about 8-10 days. I will be 15 when I buy them and probably in the 5'5" to 5'6" area and will continue growing; I will probably weigh around 130-140, most likely 130-135ish. They sound like an awesome ski for butters which I love, and sound super smooth on jumps. What I am worried about is the weight. I am worried about not being able to throw them around as easy or ollie as high as I can now. I will be putting either a Griffon or Jester on for sure. Hopefully I gave enough info, if you could though, please give me some input on the weight and maneuverability of the ski.

169 fujis would mesure to like 172-175 and lizzys measure short i think.
my bacons measure out to 178 and im 5' 10" and they rock everywhere. If you actualy ski backcountry these will kill it. And if by BC you mean resort powder or sidecountry i would still get bacons.

Get lizzys if your rastio is 70 park 30 pow
but id say bacons otherwise
