nope...pollard designed them for park, and their tips are way too low to be an effective pow ski...also, they only come in 172's...this is way to short for a normal pow ski unless it is being advertised to people who are only like 5 feet tall

im 5'8" too and i ride them in the park and east coast pow, so nothing over like 1.5 feet of heavy fresh, but they shred hard....super fun skis. they flex alot; very comparable to invaders in my opinion, but a little less poppy. i totally recommend them though

No, the Elizabeth when it first came out was Pollard's park ski. Line marketed it as a BC jib ski, which is ok...although it's a little short for most people for super deep snow. Definitely a park design if you look at the dimensions, except it's pretty wide.

Lizzies in my opinion are more buttery and just as soft as invaders. Invaders may have the butter zone, but Lizzies feel way sicker when you butter them out because it doesn't have the hing point. If you worried about them not being buttery, there is no need, they are soft as hell!

Elizabeth is super soft, but not a noodle like the ep pros or the hellbents. she has a decent sidecut and is surprisingly good at ripping groomers.... not floppy or anything. SUPER easy to butter, you don't even have to think about it. REALLY FUN SKI. definetly a good choice for a wider, soft park ski that can butter well but not wash out on jumps!

if you want a pow ski that is the same size as the Elizabeth but actually meant for pow and not park go with a bacon

The first year the Elizabeth came it it was a BC jib ski, now, one could ask "was Pollard using it in the park then?"...and the likely answer is yes, he probably was, but that wasn't how it was sold.
He designed it to ride like snowboard, hence the sidecut radius and the short length, which are both very common in snowboards, also the ability to butter is decreased on skis because of only having one contact area as opposed to two on a snowboard, therefore he made the very soft, which enabled more control over butters with less effort.
They now market it as Eric's park ski, but let's be honest...he's constantly testing so many shapes and flexes that it's impossible to tell what he's riding half the time.
They are great skis though, good for park, have enough float for some fun in soft snow. I enjoy mine.
