Line Chronic

I'm looking for a new skis, and since i grew during summer, I'm looking for a little bit longer skis.

So, I am 156-157cm tall and weight about 40 kilos. I'd say I'm advanced in piste skiing, but beginner-intermediate in park. I like to do jibbing, but i also like hitting small-medium kickers.

Would the Line Chronic 164 be a good ski for me?

Chronics are a solid ski for sure. I honestly think they could last you a couple of seasons. Light and snappy. these skis are stiff. They have slight early rise in tip and tail for nice turns. 92 underfoot makes for a sold park ski and a prett good all mtn ski. This ski could for sure float pretty decently in pow under 10 inches. If you really want these skis you should get them. Also maybe take a look at the blends. Tad fatter, softer, and lil more early rise. The ski similar but yeah personally I'd go blend but if you really want chronics go chronics.

Thanks, i thought about the blends, but since i didn't find the under 300 euros i decided not to go for them (the chronics are 250). It looks like i'll get the chronics, but I might buy the blends later.

+k to you

You should get a little bit bigger size though it'll be worth it

Did you even calculate OP's height? That's less than 5'2". No, any longer will be too long.

OP, yeah, that would probably be a good choice but maybe a little long. If I was getting Chronics for myself (6 feet, ~182cm) I would go 185 or so. If you directly compare our height ratios that would be the equivilent of you on 159s. At your size I assume you are still growing so you don't want to go too short and outgrow them right away so 164 would probably be pretty good for you, and Chronics are great skis.

Yeah, that's mainly the thing, since i grew 2 inches during summer, i'll probably grow another two during fall, so the chronics will then fit me pretty good. Thanks for the help!

If you expect to grow that much then they should be pretty perfect for you for the 2015 season and given that you're a beginner-intermediate, probably for the 2016 season as well. After that you'll probably want something a bit longer, but if you don't mind buying another pair of skis in a few years I think the 164 Chronics would be an excellent choice for you.
