Line chronic base question?

actually i don't think there are any recent ones that actually have a white base. i've only seen green/black and orange/black (the orange going back to 2006-2007?)
i know theres a length of the afterbang that has a white base, and i have heard about some problems but i don't know how legitimate they are let alone remember what they are specifically. i just remember hearing something about them somewhere. hope that helps

The Chronic's bases (and all of Line's skis this year for that matter) are either black with white graphics or white with black graphics. The reason is to save base material so half of them are black and half of them are white. Same reason why the Afterbangs are either green, blue, or white (cause all three of those colors are featured on all the bases) and the Anthems are either pink or blue. As far as which you get, if you buy them at a shop you can pick them out, if you order them online, it's luck of the draw.

my old 05/06 chronic's had a white base (was the regular chronic with the chronic wide topsheet and base, but red instead of blue)

Its random flashkick just told you. If you get white bases so what? Its the base you cant see it while skiing!

the best thing you can do is call whoever your buying from if its online and ask them if you can get it with the _________ color bases upon placing your order. backcountry has great customer service if you want to go there, but i suggest looking around for deals because most companies will work with you for the sale anyways.

all 2 and 3 color di-cut bases from LINE (and a lot of other brands) have 'color swap' bases which means when we get the materials we buy the exact amount of each color. Its an efficiency thing in manufacturing. With the same amount of each material we have to switch out the colors in the design to use it all. Get it? So if you have a Chronic 2 color base 50% of them in the world will have white Line logos and 50% with have the opposite.
