i need new skis and i have been doin some research on the chronic cryptonites and i was pretty sure i was goin to buy them. but then i started to hear some good things about the blends and i dont know which ones i should pick..any adivce on which would be the better pick would be real helpfull

what are you planning on using them for?Blends will go EVERYWHERE - groomers, park, trees, and even pow, it's one of those good at everything skis, where are the Cryptonite is a bit stiffer and is more groomer and park orientated, if you plan on using them more in the park go with the Cryptos if you just want a ski that's good at everything go with the blends.

see i like skiing everything but i am in the park most of the time cause im on the east cost in CT and when i want to ski good trails and pow i have to go up north or something

Oh word, I think I might have seen you around sundown. Go with the Cryptonites, they'll rule the park at sundown, but still be able to handle the powder up north at 92 underfoot (it's usually only like a foot or 2, so there's really no need for a super wide ski).

yeah, i would say blends if you were doing more all mountain but you will feel limited on rails with them. i love mine but they are not my first choice for a jib ski
