Line blend appreciation post

I know people like to hate on line skis and shit but i got line blends in 2021 and they are easily the best and most fun ski i've ever personally ski'd. incredible on rails incredible on jumps extremely soft and playful and bendable, i can bomb bowls and eat up powdery moguls, carve on groomers, ollie/nollie/butter, and they make everything about skiing more funner. i fucking love my line blends. though beaten as with any park ski after 2 seasons they are still very much alive going into 3rd season. shoutout the line blend
 
haha thats sick. Blends are a fun ski but from my experience you got a 1 outta 10 chance of getting a good pair, the rest are duds and snap within the first season. At least they aren't too pricey so you don't have to feel too bad if the ski breaks within a season
 
If you can bomb bowls on them that’s extremely impressive. I wouldn’t say they’re good for that though. My homie who raced has blends and is deathly terrified of speed on them due to instability and condition. Road a pair for a couple days once and the thought was not prevalent per se. Chop and semi mogul straight lines on the blends ain’t it but they are a fun ski for many things when they actually hold up. Stoked for your experience bc line has hooked up the ski community for years and continues to do so.

definitely agree that some pairs are better than others I have friends that have some that last for years and others that blow up fast. I'll randomly see the all black pair with the white mountains from time to time (such a good topsheet) those seemed like a good line of em

I think part of that is on the skier. Sounds dumb but if your form hitting rails is shit and your slamming onto metal pipes your going to break your skis. I see kids at my local hill jump 5ft in the air trying to 270 on and clip the end of a lil ass pipe and wonder why they have edge cracks.

Nah Brett's been riding them and he also says they are super fun and holding up shockingly well, I kinda want a pair now too
 
Based on me and my focus group of homies line ski’s ownership, it’s just a 50/50 gamble whether the factory worker was using enough glue on your skis or too busy sniffing it
 
Yeah it’s true. Some kids just absolutely thrash skis being reckless

if I had a sugar daddy Id buy another pair. Too bad shit snapped after only 2 seasons. Rarely flex the tails more of a nosebutter guy. No idea how they snapped. Took them out of my car and they were fucked. great ski overall. Shits lowkey ass tho. Don't buy unless you want your skis to snap.
