if you havent seem the video where line shows you how they test their bindings, go watch it. itll change your opinion so much. line bindings are easily much safer than any other binding.

the line factory vid is cool!! I own two pairs of Look P12's and after seeing that video, it made my knees scream. Although it looked like they had the DINS on about 12. I keep mine at 6.

if the looks where on 12 the reactors were on 12 if they are showing a test they keep constants (the din) and the varible was the torque point.

All that vid proves is that the line bindings is a great old man binding, which is funny, cuz thats what it really is. Huge stack hight, crazy weight, nothing that you want in a jib binding. I will give line that its a good binding, and it has some great points about it, but just not for jibbin'.

totally new scratch bindings comin anyway.....

Safety is the most important thing I look for in a binding, but in Line's case durability is the real issue. My buddie had a pair and he landed a switch 5 a little crooked and the toe piece on the one broke.

I am seeing, and hearing from a lot of people, that they are really safe, but who wants a binding that will break on you and ruin your time skiing? My local shop stopped carrying line for that reason. In my opinion, stick with the look/rossi binding until line gets all of they're shit worked out.

a old man binding? you mean only old men like to save their knees in a forward twisting fall? man i must be fucking old as dirt. the binding set maybe millimeters higher then my P14's, so what if they are a little heavyer just balls up its right under foot and its not as noticible as you think. wait wait most forward twisting falls happen while jibbin sooooooo it is a good jib binding. i love my looks but i will deff be picking up a pair of the reactors on my next set up.

The screws come a bit loose after some hard landings and riding..but thats about it. Besides that..they rock. Chronics + Reactor12s = FUCKING AWESOME.

^^^hey $1080plp$, you've got your point screwed up kinda. i totally agree that they are good bindings, but you pointed out how htey release in 'foreward twisting falls.' this is something all bindings do, that's why they release upwards in the rear. what the line binding does is help out with 'backward twisting falls.' it does this because it is able to release sideways in the heel area, unlike most bindings out there today. they are also not the first company to put this in their bindings. i think it's tyrolia (but im not certain) has put out a binding like this before. it wasnt really marketed to freeskiers though

i heard that some shops were getting inconsistant results from the line binding...they could just be showing the good one, but still, after tears my ACL...im looking into em
