Line Anthem questions

Hey i was wondering if the line anthem was a good park ski cuz the 93 waist, whether the top layers peels off or chips easily, and if the chronics would b a bettr choice. thaanks

The anthem is built the same way as the invader so it will have the super flexy butter zones and it is 100% symetrical center mount. The difference between the anthem and invader is the anthem does have that 93 width and it will have more stability on jumps than invaders. If you are looking for a rail and jump ski go anthem. If you are looking for a jump ski go chronic. I am getting invaders for rails and smaller jumps up to like 30 feet.

Anthem - wider, centermount, symmetrical, softer, sick for rails and jumps.......park ski that kills it everywhere

Chronic - narrower, stiffer, better for jumps, worse for rails.........more of an all mountain park ski

the chronic is stiffer? i thought it wud b alittle more flexy cuz of the small waist. but i luv butter zones. my skis are semi-boner now. and it doesnt flex to much when i try to butter.

i ski invaders and my friend skis anthems and we both can tear up a groomer and the ice in the midwest

chronic is stiffer because of what its made out of. it may be smaller waist, but the construction is stiffer and more bomb-proof.

Yes!I would get the afterbang but im not gonna have the money for them after i get my bents and other things (check other threads if you really care)
but the chronics are sick skis, some people at my mountain ride them, they are stiffer ski, but it makes them great for stomping jumps and like what somebody said above "bomb-proof" so if your house gets bombed and you forget your chronics upstairs in your room, don't sweat it haha.
anthems/invaders: Anthems being fatter than the invaders but they are basically the same, symetrical, soft and lightweight. good for skiing switch etc.
my next year park ski is a toss up between the 08/09 anthem or the 08/09 invader.
if you have the money get the afterbang heard nothing but good things about it

its in Line's 09/10 skis.therefore, it has not been released yet, look in late august for it, its gonna be dope

jw what size did you get and how big are you? im thinking about getting me a pair this summer for next season

yaa im probs gunna get the anthems. but sum1 needs to tell me how there topsheet holds up. keep this on the DL, but the anthems and other skis are going for real cheep right now. andd yaaa, what size anthems do u have, how tall r u, and how much do u weigh?

go with the anthems dude, you won't be dissapointed, such a sick ski

i'm 5'10 155 and my 178 anthems are perfect, the slay the park and surprisingly they held up great on the rest of the mountain, i was a little worried that they wouldn't hold up because i used to have invaders which were SUPER soft and were pretty noodley on the mountain. with my experiences, the anthem is slightly stiffer than the invader and they are great on the groomers. plus the added width makes them an overall better ski for the type pf skiing i do. so unless you want a strictly jib and rail ski, i'd go with the anthem

thaanks man. and im like the same height and weight as you. and yaa i dont want aanythin noodley. i want sumthin that will hold up in the park

ya i actually am that exact size haha.
but i would get the invader because im getting bents for powder and such but im afraid they wouldnt be as good on jumps and cruddy landings.
which i know the anthems would be better for that

i hrd the invader topsheet comes off. which is pretty lame. but i looked at those afterbangs. and i really wasnt impressed by their design. the ski is supposed to b great, but the topsheet looks like a little kid ski.
