Line Anthem length

I'm thinking of buying a pair of Line Anthem but i'm not sure about which length i should take. I've heard that the skis are longer than it says. I'm about 5'7 - 5'8 tall and considering having the 178 because of the center mounting. What are you guys thinking, are they going to be to tall? Should i take the 171?
 
we're the same height. i've had anthems for 2 years and unfortunately got 161's. way too short.but i've ridden 171's before and that's what i'm buying next year. i think you'll find 178 will be too long
 
you may want to buy the now and save them for next year, cause there is no 2011 Anthem and the 2010s will likely sell out because of that.
It's personal preference, but I'd choose the 178 cause it's a pretty soft ski and I like my soft skis long (high 170s) and my stiff skis short (low 170s), I just feel like I can land better on them that way. By the way, I'm 5'8" 155lbs.
 
i actually just meant i'm buying a 171 ski in general next year, not specifically the anthembut that's a good point
 
Word, i'm 6'2 and have the 178's, i think they actually measure out to 181 though but im not sure.
