this winter i could get afterbangs or chronics. i dont know what 1 to get.what would you guys do?

we need more information about how you ski, where you will be skiing, what part of the mountain? ((i am assuming park))

you need to post more info.

Height/weight

ability

what you're skiing (park/all mtn/ back country/ etc)

what you want it for

Chronics are a great all around ski. Good park, good all mountain. The afterbangs are the replacement/upgrade of the invader, so they're 100% park orientated. Made for jibbing and rails. It's a construction system in its first year so there could be problems.

anthems would be a happy medium, slightly wider, stiffer than afterbangs for jumps, softer than cronics for jibs and just general playfullness

well if youre actually only going to be using them exclusively for park and jibbing.... well actually what size jumps will you be hitting?

i would get the afterbangs if i was your size i think you would be able to ski with alot more power with them the chronics might not be maneuverable enough

At windell's this year i talked to LJ, and 2 other people that have ridden and tested the afterbang. They said it was just... meh. it was OK at rails, OK pop, OK responsiveness... just an OK ski. Everybody loves the chronic, its a great park ski. Go chronic.

yea i race everyday of the weekend so im tired after that and i dont feel like building any bigger jumps i just sesh park for a few hours.

also want fun on groomers because i start skiing first day and park isnt open for awhile or i have to stay close to a course.
