check it on the evolution freeride blog:

over the next few days i'll be reviewing some of the other '09/'10 skis i'm feelin' including (but not limited to) the K2 Kung Fujas, the Armada JJ, and the Nordica Smokin' Aces.

stop on into the shop and say hi if you're in the Killington area.

estimates on the cost of the afterbang?

seeing videos of people riding them, they look very noodly and almost unstable. is this not true?

I believe (don't quote me on this) they will retail for $329.00

They are soft, but I wouldn't say they are noodly like a Rossi Scratch FS/ S2 etc... They are flexible, but still torsionally stiff so they will carve a nice turn.

I h3rd 156 162 and 171.....................................................................just k1ddang I hope they have dece lengths

wow, totally didnt finnish my statement.

the s4 is stiffer.

that being said, i think the afterbang is solid. i demo'ed em for three runs, super buttery, but 3 runs is difficult to get a feel for a ski. as a whole, i liked them, a more refined version of the invader, much better all mountain (torsional stiffness is greatly improved) but as a park ski, awesome. the wood is fully sealed in the manufacturing process to prevent it from water related issues, so regardless of how much material is nicked off, it shouldnt delam. in person, the graphic looks great, and the finnish looks good, as theres no top sheet (which was something i doubted)

$329 is relatively cheap i was thinking these were atleast 500 +
but i guess it makes sense because less materials are needed.

I'm almost 100% that they are unchanged for next year, besides the graphics. Why would after selling out everywhere.

I asked from a local dealer and he said they would be something around 300€ here in finland (which is about 350USD). And these will definitely be in my feet next year :D. Just have to buy new bindings for them.

they need to make an afterbang, but with anthem or wider width, and rockered, that would be the best ski eva! im really suprised that line didnt come out with a rockered park ski for next season, they are usually way ahead of everyone but they are pretty behind in that area.
