Line 07/08 Elizabeth vs. 07/08 Anthem (vs. this years models)

First off I want to say I have used the searchbar and I have read the reviews of both of these skis.

I´m 6'1'' and weigh less than 180lbs. I have 178 07/08 Invaders at the moment but they are chipping to shit and they aren´t exactly what I´m looking for, so I´ll probably switch them to either Elizabeth or Anthem.

I love to jib everything I see and butter (if I could do it well) and I like skiing most in the trees (the more powder in the trees, the better) and also do quite a lot of jumping in the park because there´s no skiable trees at my home mountain. I don´t do rails or spins over 360´s much and I hardly ever ski deep and steep powder.

So I want my ski to be super playful for jibbing and butters anywhere, very good for trees (and some powder) and stable for takeoffs, landings and switch-riding. Also it would be highly appreciated for the ski to not chip to shit on the first day skiing. But I suppose all Line skis are prone to chipping..?

I know both Anthem and Elizabeth will be great for butters and ok for groomers, Anthem better for park and Elizabeth better for powder.

But which one is better for trees? Many people have been saying that the Elizabeth is THE BEST ski for trees, and I like the idea of a super stable ski for jumps. It sounds like my dream ski in every way but so does the Anthem as it may be even better for jibbing and fooling around all over the mountain.

I would get the Anthems in 178 and the Elizabeths obviously in 172.

But they both would be 07/08 models. I´ve heard that Anthems are the same as this years except the graphics, but how about the Elizabeths? I´ve heard/read a lot about this years model and I know it would be sick, so are there any major differences comparing to the 07/08 model?

I would get a better deal for the Elizabeths but they´re still over 100$ more than the Anthems.

Well, I dont know how well the Lizzies will do in pow considering they have a REALLY low tip height..something like 42/42. I know the Anthems do OK in the trees but you would really need a more powder-specific ski than that. I know most powder skis are pretty buttery and can spin up to 360 fairly easily. Might wanna check out proform on EP Pros or Hellbents.

I know neither of them is super good for powder but I´m not looking for a powder specific ski. More like a ski that´s just good in trees and nimblish for jibbing and stuff, and just ok in powder.

I can get only 07/08 Line skis. And I´ve heard of 165-190lbs skiers who love their Elizabeths for everything including pow. But still I´m not looking for a pow ski just something that´s a little bit better than Invader in trees and pow.
