• reportedly she suffered a tibial fracture & multiple complicated knee injuries

• her season is over

• the race was canceled due to lack of sight after 36 skiers had completed their runs, but was evaluated nonetheless

hope she recovers well. hate hearing about nasty injuries.
 
Thanks for the update, and sorry to hear of such s nasty injury. HATE knee injuries. When I was at The Steadman Clinic last month with my daughter(ACL), there were signed memorabilia from Bonn all over. Guess they'll be seeing her again:(

Thats lucky compared to what could have happened. Looks like she could have taken out her neck.

Hopes she heals up. Hopefully a mirical will happen and she can ski the olympics.
 
Torn ACL and MCL FTL. You could see it clearly in the video of her crash, the motion her right knee made on her landing was intense.
 
man racers get in the gnarliest crashes, I've seen way to many knee-destroying ski race crashes, where like the ski doesnt pop out and the body just twists around and the ski stays in the same place. Fuck.
 
At first the crash doesn't seem awful but considering the speed she's going at, minus fall become fatal.. Vibes to her

See kids, this is an extreme example of why you don't ride ur DINS too high. Vonn's are obviously set correctly, i mean its WC DH.

Anyway, maybe Mancuso will get a little more of the credit she deserves. Always been stoked on mancuso, she's better looking too
