Lincoln loop

So I'm thinking about trying a lincoln loop next weekend. Any trick tips? How big of a jump do I need? How do you go about the actual motion? Thanks

I'v done em of the knuckle of big jumps, lotta speed into it, then throw hard sideways tucking your head down to your shoulder and reaching your hands down as if trying to drag them on the snow.

you can do them on insanely small jumps. Just the number one thing is pop with both feet. Tilt your body to the side you lincoln and tilt your head the same way. Don't whip yourself and don't start the motions till your feet are at the VERY end of the lip. Good luck it's a fun flip

Every single lincoln I have ever tried has turned into a misty. How do you guys not look at the ground to spot your landing?

focus on one point until you're around (or close to coming around) and then look directly at the landing.

From the horizon you can kind of tell when you're about to land, it's just like on a trampoline except you're moving forward, so it feel a little different

Lincon loops are one the easiest tricks to set for on skis. i find them easiest off kicky side booters, but you should send if off whatever youre most comfortable with. Come in hot with a tall nice wide stance, then start to absorb the in-run a bit, then give it a super hard pop right at the lip, throwing your shoulder at your boot,,,,, send it around, spot the landing, stomp it.
