Lil help making some handrails?????

just as the title says, im plaining on making some handrails today and i was wondering if any of you had some helpfull tips or links for building handrails? i would like to make a flat/down rail and a flat rail. should i use a 2in rail or weld 2, 1in rails together ?i have to run to homedepot to pic up the pipe,but iv got pipe bennders and welders and everything i need at my house to do this.
 
make the flat bar a 2 inch pipe and make the kink a shotgun( 2 1inch pipes.) hte shotgun will help with some stability through the kink
 
usually not, you can just throw it in your pipe bender with all your measurments and stuff make sure you double check them tho. You usally just heat up pipe to bend it when it wont bend when it is cool.
