Lighter Skis Or Heavy Skis

Yo it’s yo boy blain,

my chronics be heavy according to the homie and i was like yooo you actually right they be heavy as fuck.

looking for a light fettucine ski that bends like a cooked noodle i can lean back on and flex like a microwaved bannana.

these should do you nicely

In my opinion the bindings make more difference for the weight than the ski itself. I don't think anything is gonna feel different unless you downsize.

You and the homie have bad information. The chronic is sort of light but really kind of in the middle weightwise.

Check out the switch from 4frnt.

blends r mostly light and have the stability of cooked fehttucine if thats what ur into. had em for a season and after about 15 or 20 ish days the flex got so fucked that i had to try and not butter shit

You need Vishnu wets if you are looking for noodles the wets are it. They are a bit squirrelly tho. Super slippery on rails.

i don’t know much about these but Misfit skis claims to be the most noodly ski out there. Brand new startup company. Idk how much I trust it but I thought ab trying them to see how buttery they are.

I think this might b a backup account to try and get ppl to talk about misfit skis

On3ps are super light

If you think chronics are heavy...

Just get narrower skis. Chronics are what 95 under foot now?

Wets are like 84 and made out of paper so they are pretty light.

Otherwise most ski equipment shops/distributors have the weight of each ski listed somewhere.

Not entirely true. Bindings would influence the overall wight of the ski on a scale, but have limited influence on swing weight if you thing abiut it from a physics point of view. Think about when there's a ton of powder or slush on your tips vs your boots.

Ur lookin for Wets. Just get the presale, it comes around November with a bunch of cool, unique accessories. Last year was my first pair and I’m totally hooked.

Hit the gym and get stronk. You'll be way more grateful than when your light, flimsy skis break.

Look for skis with thick midsections and much thinner core profiles toward the ends. Overall weight matters so much less than swing weight. Your boots and bindings probably weigh a lot more than the skis

I have on3ps but they are not light bro ☠️

Where are you getting this info? It’s a maple/poplar ski with carbon fiber stringers aka not a noodle

*misfit not Vishnu

Rather bannana around on some on wets. Never rode them maybe the fantasy is better than reality. But in my dreams i picture myself leaning back on my on them like a water ski getting pulled through velveeta. And then Hop poppin into switch then doing it on the front tips. Then perfecty lipping on and 270ing out a c - rail. Pop right back into switch slushing that velveeta then nice like 180 off a kicker of course nose butter back into reg then pretz four out nose butter an s rail.

I have Vinny gs and after 20 days on them actually 10 but 20 is when you really notice they get SUPPER SOFT after that they really just flex to much for me 177 was great but then they got soft and it felt like I needed 183s

Reason I know this is I got a good deal on some rivers that have been used 3times so I got to feel the brand new ones vs my broken in one's

Than that same guy got the plusses from warranty because the rivers were peeling a lil bit on top sheet.and rode those maybe a month before I tried them and they felt like brand new wets which

Is the perfect midwest flex imo so that's why I'm was going to get plusses this year

But then I tried 1000 park and I loved those they have camber still so it really helped me on rails like very noticeable it was a big tube probably 3ft wide and I just couldn't swap on it kept slipping off like I couldn't pretzel strapped on the 1000s park and did first try and they had the perfect flex for me most favorite ski I've tried. And he's getting wets this year so we swapped costumers.
