Lighter ski

i demoed the rossi ghto and loved it, super poppy and just an all around fun ski. except it was slightly heavier than i want my ski to be. any other similar skis just lighter?

 
I'm going to disagree. The 08 Jibs are the lightest skis i've ever skied and weight absolutly nothing for a 181. I find the 09 jibs to be slightly more poppy though, after that first pop I was like holy shit, i hit this same knoll every day but never this way. The 09s weight a lil more but i probably wouldn't have noticed the difference if i wasn't told it was there before. From memory UPS said the 08s had a 10 pound box incuded while DHL said the 09s were 11 pounds box included. IT doesn't make a difference though. THey still feel next to nothing while skiing. Forgot I even mentioned the differences in weight between the 2 skis. Its purely placebo and will not effect your skiing at all.
 
the reason you thought they were heavy is because they had demo bindings

demo bingings are heavy

Real bindings are lighter

It wasn't the skis.............

If

your lookin for lighter skis than rossi ghettos you probably won't have

alot of luck. They are deffinitely one of the lightest skis available.
 
the weight on the box doesnt tell you anything. We put that number there and we dont even weigh the boxes. Its just a guess by whoever sent it. But, the 09's are still a bit heavier...barely though
