Lifters

My new Px 12 have lifters on them and i dont want them. Can i take them off and just have the shop put in smaller screws, is this all i need to do?
 
Ya. Just have them not use the lifters and use a shorter screw. Make SURE the shop techs use shorter screws. A dumbass at my local shop was blazed and mounting bindings, and used the regular pivot lifter mounting screws and went right through the base of a brand new pair of Phil Dion TMs. Of course, the shop had to eat it, but it still sucked, because he bought the skis online, and had to order a new pair and shit. Took an extra week of the peak season (which lasts about 3 weeks here) to get his shit mounted and dialed.
