has the lifter much to say? is it it a big difference with or without it? i ordered some px 12 ti wide, when i got them it was px 12 ti lifter wide.

i ride mostly park..

i do know very well that i can get smaller screws. but i were wondering about the DIFFERENCE with and without, with park riding.......

They are awesome bindings. If you ride mostly park take your risers off for sure. It will make things much better.

Look at how far your screws stick out of the bindings with the risers(about 4 mill.) and than grind them down so that they stick out the same length with out the risers and you will be golden.

lifters on looks are 4mm? or 6mm. What ever it is, its not huge, but enought to notice. I hate them, but my buddy mat has them on all of his skis. I guess its preference?

if your skis are wide, it can be nice to have them. i kept the lifters when i mounted my made'ns. but for a skinny(er) park ski, you should probably ditch the lifters.

okey, but i talked to the place where i bought the bindings, an they sent me the green jib stuff instead.

so may i ask how those are?

just a marketing ploy. They dont really "absorb anything". Think, if there is a screw(stiff as hell) in the ski, how acn the binding get pressed into the ski?

the screws dont stuck to the binding, or do they?

so When they are screwed in tight as hell, the binding can still move a little bit up and down.

I have no idea what you wrote, but if a screw screws down the plate extremely tight, there's nothing thats going to be moving..

yea, fuckin searchbar for shit this obvious.

and, cause im bored, ill answer your dumb thread anyway:

lifters increase the torque on your edges, as well as increasing the possible lean angle you can achieve in a turn. because of all this, maneuverability is replacing stability. stability and control is key for park riding, so lifters are bad.

i have ridden skis mounted exactly the same with lifted and non lifted, and, on the ground, and for jibbing, its not particularly noticable. However, landing jumps, ESPECIALLY when your landing switch or catchin a big spin, lifters suck ass. its really easy to catch an edge and for the ski to cut out, resulting in you flipping dh and eating shit.

For wide, all mountain type skis, not a bad idea, specially if theyll be used on groomers. leave um off for pow.
