We meet some interesting people on the lift, we see some odd things.

When my friend's brother was little, his ski came off on the lift. Pain in the ass to ski down and get it when you're seven. Especially considering the left boot was still in the binding.
 
I pushed some snowboarder off the lift the other day. He was making fun of me so I was like "Oh, you think this is funny?" And I pushed his Jerry ass right off the lift. He was still on the ground when I skied by so I buttered over him. Then I heard I was in trouble and security was trying to find me. So I went home.

A bunch of guys gave me beers in the chairs on the way up. That was pretty sick.

One dude was super bummed about skiing 60cm. "The monster" guy at Whitewater gained fame when I proposed him to get people to call him out from the chairs while we went up together.

I gave a random guy a bud of white widdow and exchanged it for bubble hash. Shared a joint on a chair with a 63 year old guy and smoked in the parking with a dude that was near 70.

When I was in Colorado this year I bought waaay to much weed and had to get rid of it the day before I left. Rode the lifts all day hoping to find some cool peeps to give my weed away to for free. It wasn't as easy as I thought, but ended up riding the gondola at keystone with a snowboarder that had apparently just became dry and hooked him up with 3 or 4 grams of good bud. That was a fun lift ride.

Other then that, back on the east coast I have rode the lift with this old dude a few times that is way to stoked about skiing and have seen him pole planting and carving back and forth vigorously down the hill quite a few times lol.
 
happened today, I'm with 2 buddies and get in the gondola with 2 other guys our age. kid asks if he can smoke a cig and i didn't care so i said he could. then his buddy pulls at a little baggie of coke and took a bump off a key, then bleed bad. i didnt bother me but i did think it was ass backwards to ass to smoke a cig and just randomly pull out a bag of coke.

That's basically it with out the crazy outfit. Lol The dude cracks me up, and i get him going, getting him to talk about his trips out west and shit but this picture embodies him except hes probably 30yrs older than this guy.

"Hey bro wanna do the terrain park again?"

"Yeah dude its gonna be sick, I'm gonna do a method grab off the rail jump" (???? I'm assuming he means side hit?)

"Aw sick dude let me go down first so I can film it"

"Ok awesome. Y'know, it's a sick feeling to have just like... your chest like down to the snow when you're in the air. Like it's just so sick. Maybe you could learn from watching me a few times"

"Yeah ok I'll try it!!"

I didn't get to see their run and to be real I kinda wish I got to see that sick side hit method grab

riding the bunny lift up to the main mountain express chair

"oh man i see a beautiful line there" as we pass over a green run. He then went on to mention his factory sharpened edges on his board.

I was at Jackson Hole, and the only features right now are a few weak ass jumps and some simple boxes/rails. At least in the park they were in. idk, maybe they were but it was funny to me
 
About 2 years ago, I was riding a quad lift with my cousin, and a friend. Some guy ask if he can jump in with us, and we let him in. As we're riding up the lift, he leans over, and he whispered this phrase into my ear: "What's your biggest fear little boy? I won't tell your friends." We all then proceeded to tell him our fears. I will never, ever forget what he told me his fear was. He said, and I quote "my biggest fear is that at night, a big black man will sneak into my room, and stick his hand up my ass and control me like a puppet. That's why I wear a butt-plug at night." We got off the lift, and we laughed our asses off for about 5 minutes

Probably just side hitting rails then. All the snowboarders do it at my hill

Was riding up the chairlift and some old guy was talking about dealing weed to his old friend and how he put his morning wood to good use
 
Me and my friends were at gore in like 7th grade and these 2 guys prolly mid 50s spent the whole gondola ride up talking about how much coke and crazy shit they did back in the 80s then gave us lecture on not doing drugs
 
i got stuck on a lift today at killington. When it finally started moving again we got to the top and received a voucher for $10 worth of beast bucks. Kinda dope.
