Lift lines

Finally get to get out of the midwest next season over holiday break. I am flying out west and I seem to like Utah in terms of best resorts. What resorts tend to have the shortest lift lines that still have a decent vertical. I am just coming for cruisers and will not be doing powder skiing or any park so I don't care about the setup. My parents are liking park city but I can imagine the life lines get crazy. Is deer valley and good? thanks in advance

I've gone to PC, Brighton, beaver, Alta, snowbasin, snowbird, and never waited in an actual line. Maybe a 5-7 min total wait at the absolute longest ever. Even that is really stretching it and coulda been shorter. No matter where you go in Utah regarding lift lines you can't complain, compared to the ones in Colorado.

Honestly, if you want a good time this time of the year, head to Alta. Alta is always so fun during spring skiing, and they've got some really good terrain. They've also got some really fun spring events coming up, all around it'll just be a fun time up there. Also, I don't think I've waited in line for wildcat at all this entire year, Collins can get a bit busy though.

Yea my bad, I misread that. Anyways, you still can't go wrong with Alta, they've always got sick jumps built all over the mountain.

If you really want all the goods for yourself go to powder mountain or solitude. Alta and snowbird have the best terrain and vert, but it is competitive on a powder day.

No chance to be had at vail, epic pass holders are locusts.

Solitude/Brighton, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain. Every other resort will be packed as fuck.

This, solitude never has lines even in a pow day but don't come to pc over Christmas break it is ridiculous

competitive is the best way to put it. like angry aggressive competitiveness for fresh turns and its kinda funny to see. Solitude is insane and the terrain off of honeycomb is fucking nutty. PC had some real deep days this year but honesty the holidays are always a madhouse. No terrain and too many people so everything will get tracked quick. there have been some total sleepers this year with everything open and tons of pow so it can be hit or miss but definitely expect crowds.
