hey friends of newschoolers. i just wanted to make a thread to let u guys know you have to make sure to always keep your heads up and remember the good things we have in life. and to remember how lucky we are in every aspect of living how we do.

last night one of my really good friends passed away, :(

and i just cant stop thinking of life and how it can be taken from you so quick.

Nicholas Riani.

a great friend, funny as hell, always chill i never had a bad moment with him. he was a avid member of this site and just before i found out i laughed my ass off at one of his posts. u will always be in my heart man .

if u read this just remember how important we are and how much everyone cares about every one of us. life is too short to loose. be strong and shred your lifes woes away with the smooth powder turns

sorry to hear that man, I just lost a family member recently, it sucks, but it is what it is, nothing you can do about it. How did he go?

And what was his username on here?

NIick man we started off shaky but ended fine and man lemme tell you NS is going to miss you and vt is going to miss you more. Its a shock wave that you have left us but your in a better place now. RIP Nick, you were a cool cat, we had some solid conversations together, you will be missed.

Its odd, everytime i hear of a fellow skier passing i feel as if i lost a dear friend and brother, even if ive never met them.

and vibes to his friends and family, i had a very close friend commit suicide our sophomore year in high school due to drugs, the hardest thing to deal with is knowing they were in so much pain, that taking their own life was the only way to cope with it.
 
wow..this is shocking. this guy was awesome, i loved his posts on NS and in Ladies men, seemed like a great kid

He was always a great poster, and i always thoroughly enjoyed reading his posts. Always good for a laugh or a good serious, helpful response. I hope he knows how many on NS will miss him.

Wow, RIP man.

I'm still young enough to have a feeling of invincibility to an extent so it's always crazy to hear of a young person passing away. Vibes to his family and friends for sure.

Wow, I'm stunned. I used to talk to him back in the day when AIM was still popular and he gave me some solid advice on "getting the girl".

Dude was always willing to help out.

Sad stuff.

i know how it is to loose someone so quickly. not as quick as this situation it sounds. my dad died last summer it only took a month from diagnosis to death.

wow i'm in shock. I don't want to believe this is true.

rest in peace Nick. you were always super nice and of course hilarious when we talked. i really didn't know you that great but i am blown away. you are loved and will be missed by all. best wishes to friends and family
