I'm new to Gypsum, Colorado, and after being laid off from Vail Resorts, which I relocated up here to work for, my employee housing I was temporarily staying in ran out, and the CO expensive cost of living has run me ragged and out of money where I am trading work to find a place to stay. I'm trying to get my life rebuilt, and back together and I'm interested in starting to gather money to get a car, after being robbed for the money I had saved for fixing up a 1979 Eldorado Cadillac Biarritz.

I'm far from a "bad guy", and having ten grand saved for the trip and experience of moving here was a long and arduous amount of time to save, only to be robbed by some of the lesser glorious mid-valley residents.

I'd love to get back on my feet and moving, so anything would be helpful. All things through Christ, and all things bow to the dollar these days.

why would you want that car specifically to live in the mountains with? Just get an 80's subaru for cheap.

You realize that you just posted on newschoolers. Most of the people that are on here are also living in an expensive ski town barely getting by.

Take the bus, hitchhike, walk, save up some money and buy an outback for 2-3k

Asking for $7,500 to buy a 1979 Cadillac is pretty stupid.

This is honestly pathetic.

Cars are over rated for ski people. Sucks that you got your shit stolen. Find a place to crash, then work, then gear, then a pass.
