Life after SPKs

So I've been using spk's for the past 5 years and the one buckle finally ripped off and the boots are fucked. Plus I have a better job and money to buy new shit... anyways I'm really skinny and as some of you may know, skinny people can sometimes have shitty circulation or something but your fingers and toes swell up and get cold easily, its just really uncomfortable. this didn't happen with my spks so I was wondering if there are any boots similar to the spks or what other people have switched to since they stopped production. Leaning toward Roxa or full tilts.. but idk

The name changed from spk to ghost. Still think everything is the same but not 100% sure so you could get those boots again and go to bootfitter.

If you have circulation issues get the boot that fits you best, then add an intuition wrap liner for maximum warmth

i know a dude that used his 2010 spk until thus season, he bought some FT descenants and he loves the fuck out of them. but seeing a bootfitter would be the smartest option.

havent ridden FTs but i have only heard good things

also just a word of warning, some of may friends said that if they were gonna re buy FTs they would order more cables because they tend to break after a while

Pretty sure its not the same boot anymore. Bobby brown used to ride SPKs but he was wearing FTs at dewtour last year. He rides for Salomon so he technically should be riding Salomon boots as well. Also I recently saw a video of Oystein ridding an old model of SPKs.

The Ghosts and SPKs are not the same. The Ghost is quite a bit more narrow.

Man, RIP. I just destroyed my SPK pros to the point of no return as well.

Everyone who says full tilt, I've got super wide feet so they've never fit in the past. I should try the new descendant line which claim to be wide...

I really wish Salomon hadn't discontinued those boots. I really do love them.

I moved from the SPK to the Quest 110. It was a big change to move to a low volume toe box, but for a touring freeride boot they are working out great. No Ragerts

Maybe ns should get together and buy the old spk moulds and start a ski boot company...

JLev has done it once.. He can do it again!!

If you go for FT just get Roxas, they're made together but a little better and the element 110/120 are a little narrow so mind that but stupidly light and comfy.

Or just see a fitter and browse multiple options

I'm still using my 2013 SPKs with missing buckles and i will continue to use them til they dont go around my feet. Best boots ever created
