On Monday, July 25th, I sent a payment to John through Paypal for a sweatshirt and a few t-shirts. He told me he would ship them out as soon as he had a chance, as he was skiing at Hood. I followed up with him on Wednesday, and he told me he wouldn't be able to send them out until the following Monday. Didn't seem like a big deal, so I moved on. I texted him the day after he said he would mail to confirm that he sent it out, and asked for a picture of the receipt. He told me he had sent it out, but didn't have the receipt. Here we are over three weeks later, still no sign of the stuff. He hasn't responded to my texts since August 3rd, things don't look promising.

tl;dr Bought something from Lt. Dan, it still isn't here almost a month later.

Be patient? I agree you should have heard about a shipment by now, but holy shit you can't wait two days before demanding confirmation and pictures to prove your used Jiberish shirt is on the way?

I don't even think you're inside the Paypal claim window yet, give it some time. This isn't Amazon Prime and I'm sick of selling stuff on here and dealing with children who think it is.

If you sell something and you say when it will be sent by, you should fulfill your word. I don't think it is the buyers fault to worry.

Also, if you're selling something and took the money already, don't go on vacation, stop answering, or even giving the runaround.

It isn't a matter of the kid thinking this is Amazon. It is a matter of him providing money in good faith and not receiving product or even accurate messaging from the seller.

Dude check your meter, he just said he "followed up" with him two days after sending payment. That's harmless behavior, wtf do you need a couple of days for to communicate maybe two sentences? OP is has all the reason in the world right now to be pissed after weeks of no contact. I am on many different forums with b/s/t and NS is by far the worst in respect to common courtesy.

This was the text I sent him. I had asked before sending the payment when he would have a chance to mail the stuff, and he said in the next few days. I gave him two days, and checked in. Not sure how that makes me a psychopath. 835412.jpeg

That ISN'T an excuse. If you decide to sell something and are communicating, get your ass to UPS or USPS. I can't believe anyone is sticking up for this idiot.

Lol chill the fuck out. I'm just saying it's totally possible it was sent out and is just taking a long time. I waited on a package pretty much all summer to get out to Windells and UPS/FedEx stops there every day. My friend also received a letter two weeks after I sent it out from Welches. Just a simple envelope. Usually it's not to bad but sometimes shit happens.

I could understand if it took this long to ship across country, but the lack of communication is a little disappointing.

You are an idiot. The argument isn't that shipping sucks. It is a problem when something is sold and there is a lack of communication and transparency.

As for shipping, look at a fucking map on either the UPS or Fedex website. It tells you exactly how long it will take to get there barring weather or a truck crash.

In the OP, he said that Dan sent it out and didn't get a receipt. If he actually sent it out from Hood, it's totally possible it just hasn't gotten to him yet. That is all I was trying to say. Whether he actually sent it or not, I don't know but it's pretty unfair to just assume he didn't.

It's pretty obvious there was/is a lack of communication and I'm not defending that in the slightest. It absolutely sucks that OP hasn't gotten his stuff yet and I hope they can get it figured out.

Thought I should update this, John reached out this weekend and explained the situation to me. He offered to send the stuff this week, but happily sent the refund when I asked. Glad it's finally resolved.
