I was thinking I might get k2 extremes, but this deal popped up and I it just seems like a rediculous deal. I've heard nothing but great things about the skis, and I'm sure they will be durable and all that (correct me if I'm wrong). My biggest question is what size should I get? I'm about 5'9", and I'm not really sure. I don't think I will get a mount because I would way rather have it done by a shop. I might just get a binding from one of those option without a mount, but which one do you think is the best? I don't want to get one that is too expensive, so maybe I can find a better deal elsewhere. Also, I'm not too sure on where to mount them if I do get em. I do about 50/50 park/all-mtn. Thanks

I loved my liberty phil larose. Super bomb proof skis and very light. Im tempted to get a pair at those prices haha/

get a 178, i ride libertys and ski a 178 LTE at 5'7" and they are really nice! The old phil larose's are dope, but if your looking for a newer version or a different ski for 50 /50 all mtn /park, go with the LTE, kills it on groomers and is wide enough to float in deep pow while also destroying it in the park because of the bamboo and its sweet pop, It is more expensive though

I'm just a little bit afraid that the 178 would be too much ski for me since I am just starting out in park.

HOLY FUCK GO FOR IT that price is amazing, i have those laroses they are really fun awesome in the park super light poppy, responsive, stable underfoot yet buttery in the tails, i love mine, they handle the allmountain pretty good, i took mine out to keystone during there storm a week ago, they did okay in the pow but of course they are a park ski, when i went in to the park i am a beginner so they were awesome they took the rail abuse and were stable on jumps, im 6'2" 156lbs and i got these for park, for you get these in the 178 for they measure a true 178 unlike other companies they will be stable for you so go a head and buy them up

I agree with everything in this thread, except that they are 'bomb proof'.

I loved them for their light weight and pop, but snapped 2 pairs, both in really stupid under rotated flips but yeah, not the strongest ski out there, but one of the lightest and most fun.

And their warranty is good, thumbs up for liberty there, warrentied the first pair right away

178 fo sho. my friend has them and they are super light and very durably. they've been used pretty hard for the past two years and they're still holding up great. if i didnt have skis right now, i would do it.
