Liberty KGB vs. K2 Public Enemy

I'm looking for a new ski next year and I'm pretty sure that it's going to be between the KGB in 180 and the PE in 179.

I'm 5'11" 170 lbs

ski 60% park 40% all mountain (Pennsylvania)

and I make one trip out west each year.

I thought of those two, because both can be obtained fairly cheap, and they seem to fit the bill.

Currently I'm riding 04' scratch FS's in 174. I want a ski thats a little stiffer than that but not like a 2x4. And I'm going to be in the park so pop and durability is an issue too. I've heard in the past Liberty had some really shit durability issues but apparently they're resolved now?

Whats the general thought here?

i was just in pennsylvania! just got back. but ive never ridden the KGB but the PEs are super sick for everything. i think the KGBs are more park specific thiough

i have last years enemys and they were a really nice ski. i would have wanted a more park specific ski because im like 90% park 10% other but when i went to tahoe they were perfect

my friend's kgb's broke after using them for like 3 or 4 days, and he never even hit any rails. it was his first season trying to freeski. so i dont know if you should go with liberty. and plus the libertys are probably only 200 dollars on proctorjones because they probably dont last long. i had public enemys for two seasons, and i even mounted bindings on them 3 times and im still using them right now. plus i dont know how kgb's would perform out west in powder. go with the public enemys

kgbs are lighter, but the stiffness seems the same. i demod PE's and hated them, but used my friends kgbs and loved them. its personal preference i think
