Liberty Helix Thoughts??

The New liberty helix's are coming out next year and they look good. but has anyone skiied them from a few years ago when they last carried them (back before Liberty was durable).

I have a pair of the old ones, they were a pretty fun ski, camber with tip rocker, they were pretty flexible in the nose and tail and were fun to play around in. They didn’t last long because the tips and tails all delamed in a few weeks badly but it was a fun ski.

I’ve skied the helix 98 as well as the origin 96 and 106. They were all ok skis, nothing special. The origin 106s were wayyy too soft in the nose and all three models just felt kind of cheap and chattery on my feet. Helix’s did have a good amount of pop though

What was your experience like on the origin 96s?

Update they snapped in the tail about a month ago from landing a jump slightly back seat

I have the older Origin 96 but the old model, not the one from this year. I'm on the east coast and absolutely love them as an all mountain ski (I don't ski much park). They are fantastic carvers on everything except ice and the massive tip rocker makes them really good for their width in pow and variable snow. The construction on them is pretty bomber, I have skied in some really thin cover and only have minor base scratches. I think the Blister review on them is pretty spot on:https://blisterreview.com/gear-reviews/2016-2017-liberty-origin96
