Liberty Antigen VS Volkl Ledge

Hello Newschoolers people,

Just wondering what people opinions on the 2011/12 Antigens and Ledges were, have found them both for similar prices and wanted some feedback from anyone who's ridden them. I generally like a super soft buttery ski, and do more jibbing than hitting huge booters, so i want a fun poppy ski as opposed to a stiff solid one. I used to have a pair of Phil Larose Pros that were incredible so anything similar to that would be cool, tried Abangs before but they were WAY too heavy feeling for my liking.

Cheers

the antigen is the ski for you. way more light and nimble. good amount of rocker which keeps them playful and symmetrical for all those rails. enjoy.

Id be careful with the antigen. I rode my for less than 2 months this year, and have delam on the tip and tail of the left ski, and the tail of the right ski. Does effect performance yet, but its something to keep in mind.

Super fun ski though, and would reccomend despite the issues Liberty is usually really good about warranties.

cheers guys, as i say i had a pair of larose pros before which have the worst rep for durability ever and managed to ride them everyday for 2 seasons straight, so I either trust Liberty or suck at riding enough that damage hasn't been too much of an issue in the past. +k

where did you get your information from. liberty is known to be a company that puts out bombproof skis. my laroses are from 08 and have been shredded super hard since and are yet to have an edge crack no signs of them breaking or wearing down. op id go for the antigen just because the antigen will be a bit more playful.

i have the 2010 antigens and they are super flexy really good for butters and trannys, they can get unstable at high speeds when on groomers and they can wash out on jumps so they're probably better for rails, my friend has antigens and he says they're the best skis he's ridden can do pretty much anything, just the right flex, good for powder and can rip on jumps

I have the ledges and i rode them 4 times this season but i out grew them i liked them while i was able to ride them i will sell them to you.
