Since ill be a junior (high school) this year, i've recently started seriously looking at colleges. I'm interested in photojournalism, journalism, design, fashion, things of that sort. I was hoping you guys could recommend some schools to check out. I'm looking for a medium sized school ideally near or in a city. Geography doesn't matter. Thanks!

because you are posting on NS, I suppose you are looking for places you can ski?

If so, would you be ok in the East, or would you want to move out west? Because... let's face it, if you can make it west you should.

us for sure, sorry i didnt mention that. Honestly, the skiing factor isnt really that big of a deal, i know thats sacrilege on ns but i could keep busy without being on snow

hmm well F.I.T [fashion institute of technology] has some good programs, i'm applying there and at parsons for interior design, parsons is pretty hardcore though, there's also the obvious Art Institutes, San Fran. Art institute, Pratt institute, Cooper union...those are the only one's i know for sure. I hope i'm on the right track for you. I'm applying to some of those but i'm from canada so...

Ryerson University has some great arts programs. Its in Toronto, Canada. Toronto is the biggest city in all of canada if you didn't know. The university is right downtown. Lots of stuff do to nearby. 2 hours away from decent skiing (Blue Mountain, MSLM). Look it up, its a great school, small class sizes, teachers care, its basically a college except you get a university level degree when you graduate.

^no, but i know a bunch of people who've gone and loved it. and i'm looking at going there. why?
