I'm pretty sure I'm going to L&C in Portland next year...are there any NS Pioneers?And what's the best place to go from Portland? as far as proximity/cost/finding a ride?
i'd appreciate a little bit of info, thanks.
 
I don't go to L&C but the closest place is Hood. Either Skibowl, Timberline, or Meadows. Skibowl is the closest of those three but they are all pretty similar distance wise. All are about an hour or so from L&C.
 
Aight, heres the deal

I actually go to Lewis and Clark, I am a junior now living off campus. Lewis and Clark is a pretty good school, not super challenging school wise, but not bad. The ski community really blows, only a few dedicated skiers and even less dedicated freestyle homies. Student body is generally hippies and hipsters, lots of fun drugs, not as much drinking. Mt. Hood is the only thing close, about an hour and half to timberline, almost two hours to meadows. You got to have a car though, there is no easily accessible bus to the mountain. Try to live in the forest dorms if possible
