Skiing is fucking weird, you can see the most ridiculous shit ever and just be completely unimpressed.

Im pretty sure there was a ski industry when you were his age unless you are over 100 years old and there still is one today. Just because you are not a huge part of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
 
Nothing that comes out of these shoots is "unimpressive". To say that is ignorant, straight up and down. In fact, in my humble opinion, its the opposite. Everything that's getting put out these days is so fucking ridiculous that people just don't know what to think. There will always be trolls and attention whores, but unless they let their edits do the talking, they are just blowing steam.
 
So pumped for Level 1 to get this high recognition of the hard work and consistent next level-ness of their films! Congrats!
 
That's pretty stupid. Because someone disliked something you like, you want that person to stop supporting and paying for the thing you like?
 
on the other hand you have non-skiers who are mind blown by any spin over 720 but would be completely unimpressed by say, shea flynn's 180 on to that concrete d-f-d

I showed one of my friends my season edit from a couple years ago (super ignorant kid by the way) and he said something like "all those spins on and off rails and stuff are gay you should just hit more jumps"

then he got a mad boner when a shot of a cork 9 came up.

pikupfiullofsnow is seriously the biggest tool bag on this site... maybe you can film.. but how you managed to gain respect from your peers in the industry when you constantly act like a piss-ant 4 year old and post shit like this is a total mystery to me. have some respect.. another film company won, whether it should have or not is totally subjective. get the fuck over yourself you stinky sack of pig shit.

Level 1 has been making sick movies for longer than anyone else, they have a certain method to presenting thier film and it works well, everyone buys it and they win movie of they year. my comment was stating that L1 isnt going to go out of their mold, change or do anthing new or original with their movie other than progressive shred because what they do works, and every other company bites them, so it would be insane for anyone else to even have a chance. furthermore, with the lack of snow, and riders being hurt, i didnt feel like the movies had a chance to be as good as lets say last years flicks.

sorry i was in a bad mood and ranted like everyone else on this site.

ok. I still think the post is disrespectful.. to me its pretty clear he's saying he thinks his movie deserved to win over level 1.

well.. it was less from the period and more from the fact that i thought it was just a post saying poorboyz.com and didn't realize that was his signature. and ya prolly like 5 people already mentioned that.. so I guess its true i'm retarded. also though i've been here on and off since 06 and i only remember negative hateful posts from this guy... so it was easy to interpret this as one of those I guess. soorry.
 
kyle decker is one my friends.i was stoked for him and level 1, so i posted this thread.people can say i post negative things on this site, but i feel i also bring a lot of positive as well.get stoked for winter, i'm am, i get to shoot dane for the x games real snow bc event ;)
 
If you are unimpressed by any of this years ski movies, you spend to much time on the internet watching ski videos...
 
I feel the level of skiing is so far beyond what I will ever be capable of I could never fully appreciate it, or to say it's become unrelatable.
 
I kind of feel this way when I watch movies that are mostly big mountain/pow stuff.

I really like pow segments here and there, they give variety, but I have only once skied snow that was up to my knees so I get a little bored watching an hour and 15 mins of guys shredding gnarly lines.
 
I did not go to if3. nor did i see all the videos that were there but. I must say 86 and sunny were great. But the best ski film i have seen latly is While We Can. Was it at if3?
 
its pretty annoying how the pre orders havent come yet.... even an itunes version would be nice. and level 1 keeps saying is "their distributor", well screw you level 1 I want to see your movie , and if your distributor cant do their job then hire someone that will!!!!!

Ive been watching eye trip and after dark non stop !! fuck!
