i guess God is not american or whatever, but the only existing God is the christian one (and to be precise, the catholic one), so serve his cause, spread the message, love each other but do not let heretics kill our buddies!!! i think there is no specific problem with any religion, but now, one is trying to kill ours!!! defend ourselves!!! the definition varies, whether religion technically means you worship god(s) or not, but who said that atheistic religiongs (or followings or whatever you want to call them) doesn't have rules or ideals??? they do. trust me.

I see it as a religion having a common goal, with christianity... I'm not christian but I guess it would be getting to heaven? Well it's the same with other relgions. Buddhism has a common goal of reaching enlightenment. Between different religions I just see a change in the noun

right, i got that, theres a common ideal... but when you say religion you think islam, christianity, bhuddism etc... all with shrines, temples, churches, whatever... meeting places and heirarchy... i guess i just sort of incorporate those with religion. thats why i dont really think of it that way, even though the dictionary only defines a religion as ... an ideal.

think of christian belefs for example, not whatever takes the place of those belefes is also a religion. on to p of that, forcing the idea of god on somone is combining church and state becuase even is that god is genaric, some religions dont have a god.

A few things I'd just like to give my two cents on:

it is predicted that we will run out of food becuase there won;t be enough farmland to grow it alot sooner then you think (not in your or my life but alot sooner then you think)

This argument really isn't really valid as an argument for abortion (as the number of fetuses aborted would really have no impact on world population) or anything else, really. This was theorized by a guy named Malthus over a hundred years ago. He theorized that by the beginning of the 20th century, there would not be enough food to go around. Not true, obviously, or you and I wouldn't be here. He didn't take into account something called 'homeostatic plateaus' of food production, which allow more food to come from less land as technology improves.

bush on the other hand favors protecting america on the war on terror

and he also favors refueling the nuclear arms race by developing burrowing nuclear bombs called 'bunker-busters.'

Granted not every muslim is a terrorist but every westerner isnt an evil oppressing capitalist either but that doesnt stop them from killing random civilians. So I say for everyone westerner they kill we kill 100 random muslims maybe theyll get the picture and if not theyll all be dead before we are.

Good idea! And then after all those dirty Muslims are dead, we can go over to the Middle-East and make it into a theme park!

I have also seen some argument about whether or not atheism is a religion. For legal purposes, atheism is considered a religion under American law (in other words, freedom of religion can also mean freedom FROM religion).

Anyway... I'm done now.

^Bunker busters are not nuclear weapons but just your standard explosives that can burrough under ground and through concrete and incinerate what is inside and it has been used succesfully in Iraq and Afganistan already. A burroughing nuclear bomb is a shear waste, not nearly enough bang for your buck. Also, Ih ate to break it to you but the cold war is over along with the arms race, the space race and all of your other races. The US has deactivated a large portion of its ICBMs already and a signifigant number of silos have also torn apart.

^^^I apologize for using the improper terminology. However, Congress just approved monies for researching a burrowing nuclear weapon for destroying underground strongholds. And the cold war may be over, but that doesn't mean the nuclear arms race is over (China, North Korea, Former soviet republics, etc.)
