Lets pick a name for hitting rails sideways

it should be a "skislide", just like a snowboarders "boardslide". andy parry kind of took it for his one ski 50-50 though.

Well.. Andy Parry's ski slide makes sense since ski stand for a single ski. But if you put an S on the end of Ski slide to make it plural for two skis you get Ski's Slide. So what I'm getting at is why not call it Ski's slide

my friends that snowboard have asked me and I just describe it as either left foot forward or right foot forward... idk..

Perpendicular or parallel based on how your skis and the sliding surface are. perp for 50/50's, para when needed, otherwise assumed.

Changes no previous trick names except give 50/50 back to the boarders.

Lip 270 to para 180 out

Perp to para over the kink pretz 450 out

I usually just say "hey check me out, I'm the best skier on the mountain!" Then i hit it sideways and slip off early and eat shit. And then i say "i just got so hyphy!". So i guess saying getting hyphy would work

You don't have trucks on your skis and you are not riding sliding it parallel to the rail, hence "50/50" doesn't work.

Hereafter I will be referring to it as a "Lucy" for left-foot forward slide and "Ralph" for right-foot forward slide.

Ralph to Lucy to 270 out

I tend to call it either 90 or "reg" for regular, both are short and seem to get the point across without a problem.

this edit can describe the situation. sliding sideways before you're on a rail, or before you leave a jump

examples at 1:30, 1:45, and 1:57
