Lense colors

it seems like most of skiers use a mirror lense og their googles.. why do you do that?? because it look cool?yellow/red is much more effective in my opinion..

Every lense has a different purpose. Oakley makes about 15 different lenses all for different light / weather conditions. Most other companies just make a mirrored lense or something similar because they look cool. If you read on the oakley website it describes the differences between all of them. You are right that a yellow lens allows more UV through them making visibility better on flat light days.
