My oakley splices have like a permanent fog on them. I doesnt matter how much i try wiping the lens, it stays there. I dont want to spend 40 bucks for a new lens if i can de-fog it myself. Any advice or tips?

i heard something about somebodies gogles bubbling up and i THINK they washe them with cold water and may have been fairy liquid too, so they may be fine,

I'd probably try giving Oakley a call first and see what they suggest. If that doesn't work, then resort to weird Google remedies and just hope for the best.

If you were a customer walking into my store, my first question to you would be "what did you use to try to clean the inside?"

DO NOT EVER use anything to clean the inside of an oakley goggle. Every goggle company uses an "anti-fog" technology on the inside of the lens. Smith uses microabrasion so they suggest using only goggle specific clothes to clean the lens because anything else could scratch those grooves. Oakley has a "film" on the inside of the lens and even rubbing enough water into it can disrupt it (let alone windex, sprays, spit...which people do every year). Whenever you get water on the inside of an oakley, let the lens dry and then use your goggle bag to remove the water marks. Cat Crap is supposed to work with Oakleys to help with fog but I wouldn't risk it with my own. Oakley will not warranty this, it happens all the time and it is not their fault.

the outside lens you can rub all you want but you have to treat that inside lens like the water on it is acid. If your in the middle of a day and you don't have time to air dry then you can dap the lens carefully and lightly with your google bag.

One of the best tips I can offer is to never leave your goggles in your bag overnight. Make sure you set them out on a table or something so they can dry.

Then they will pretty much never fog during the day, except in extreme conditions.

put them on a heater overnight. should help. and make sure that the foam of your goggs is perfectly dry. that REALLY helps for not fogging up
