Does anyone still think legos are cool? I recently purchased a couple sets and, who knew, I had tons of fun putting them together. I think they're really cool
 
There's no doubt Legos are cool.

I take a minor role assisting my 8yo son with them from time to time. He got a pretty cool lego train for his birthday. The Technic stuff is pretty awesome. He built a rally car, and a vw bug model.

I want to get the Voltron.
 
when i was younger i used to make lil lego skiers and have like comps and stuff on thoese tech deck rains and stuff

Legos are cool. If you step on one though it's like stepping on burning coals.

I had one embedded in my foot once

On a semi related note I used to eat marbles aswell because I thought it was funnt
 
Legos are the shit. Fuck Mega Blocks.

I used to make airplanes that would hang/slide down a rope from the top of the start case all the way down then crash land into a pillow

Mega blocks are cool too cuz you can get 50,000 piece sets for 10% of the cost of legos.
 
I'm going to shamelessly post these here because it's relevant. I broke my ankle a few years ago and this was my chair-bound passion project for a couple weeks. Mostly done in Lego Digital Designer, but some real stuff worked in there too. Legos are rad.

My cat bought me this for Christmas and I opened it early. Very satisfied. Haven't made a lego anything in easily more than a decade

I almost spent some mad cash on legos a little while back. I decided that I didn't want a 1/1118 size replica of the death star hanging in my bedroom.

Anyone interested in trades? Just want to build some shit in my spare time

I think they actually release a winter Olympic/park set... I k ow I use to have some LEGO skiers

they released a half pipe with snow boarders but no skiers unfortunately

Yeah that’s what I must’ve had. I remember the half pipe pieces. No wonder I had a slightly gay childhood
 
LEGO Star Wars was my favorite as a kid. I got a millennium falcon kit when I was a kid and I don’t think any Christmas gift has ever made me so happy. LEGO is what I attribute to my love of working on cars now.

Def do save them. So expensive now. Way back when I used to sell a ton of stuff on ebay, lego mini figures were going for $10 a pop. I made a killing with all my old legos. But buying them in the future for my future kids is gonna suck.
