Legit Invaders

I'd just like to give a short story as a testament to some of the beatings that invaders can take, despite some peoples beliefs.

Today some friends and I were screwing around in our little park, trying some indian sits on a picnic table, which was a complete failure but we were still having a good time. Then we decided that we'd try and do some somersaults with our skis on. Most of the attempts again, failed miserably, but we didn't care too much. Well I tried a few, got some that were pretty close, just with my tails catching a bit too much on the way around. So I tried one with a bit more speed, popped harder and thought I gave it a good push, and then I was standing again, but I didn't keep moving? I looked back and my tails were stuck down into the snow at about 60 degrees, I freaked out, layed back and popped them back out. After giving them a good look over, checking all the edges and the flex in the tails I realized that nothing had broken or been damaged. I skiid for the rest of the day and had no problems, so how about that?

one time i did a tip stand, and my tips jammed in like 8inches in, while my feet were flat on the ground so they were bent over like a fishing pole. and they were fine. but mine werent invaders they are walls. i was just astounded they didnt snap/break somehow.

Yeah, it was pretty crazy looking down and just seeing em bent over like that.

They're this years invaders, and I haven't had them for too long so it kinda freaked me out.

i just tried to rocker my old invaders....the tips worked fine, but i managed to snap the core on one of the tails....O WELL! Other than that, my invaders had taken a very good beating....my '08s lasted me all of last year and all this season up until tonight when i broke the core, with only 2 little edge cracks i hadnt even noticed until tonight, and the usual top sheet dings....VERY reliable skis! Now it looks like i have to ride my brand new elizabeths....BUMMER
