Legit camera?

Refurbished is a little sketchy, but for just a body and being used that price seems ok.
 
refurbished by canon means its new basically and they put a new shutter in, the problem is if your gonna go rebel series, go and get the xsi if you will be switching lenses often, the xti does no have a dust cleaning sensor so you will get dust on it
 
yah if i were getting into a rebel i would do xsi 100%, it has some pretty impressive features being an entry level well priced dslr. if you have to, save your money for the glass

the xti is very legit.... but watch out for sites im not saying this one is a scam but there are plenty of camera scammer sites out there.
 
Adorama is safe to buy from. Also, refurbs are basically new, nothing to worry about when buying refurbished items.
 
i would agree except i think the xsi is an exception to the rebel family. it's pretty legit given the price and its features. i would either do the xsi or something better, i.e. a used 30/40D , and keh.com is fucking awesome apparently. i've never used it myself, but i've heard from numerous people that their ratings are extremely conservative. so when they said it's in good condition, it's actually in like mint condition, etc. again tho, if you're working on a limited budget, put the money into the glass, not the body necessarily.
 
see my dad has the xti, and i shot all nikons at school, and i just personally like the canon better. it took just as good of pictures for me, and i liked the feel/layout better
 
I would definitely not say the XSi is an exception to anything. It's just another soccermom slr. Obviously they take great pictures if you know how to set it up, but it's definitely not anything special. I personally liked the XT was the best of the rebel series, having used the XT, XTi and XSi. But once again, it's not anything special, it's just the one i liked best.
 
then buy is lenses, they work on every body. also the only cameras with it built in are pentax and samsung (the same cameras with diffrent badges).
