I live right next to Nashua. To be honest I don't know of any good specialized boot fitters nearby, and I've been to all the ski shops.
I would seriously not rush into gettin a pair(which sounds like you are). Boots are the most important ski equip you will buy. I've been going to http://www.strandsskishop.com/ for about 10 years now, and they're worth the day trip It's a hole in the wall place, but they specialize in custom boots and footbeds and know their shit.
My last pair they gave me custom footbeds in some park boots and they are so worth it.
beleive me i know boots are extremely important and i've been bugging my parents to take to shops for weeks but of course now they decide to go and cram it all into one day with like 2 shops basically. i know there is a really legit bootfitter a bit closer but now my mom won't want to go seeing as half of the trip up to nashua is to see my grandparents for a bit.
I was in Strands a couple of days ago. They take their time fitting boots and do it way better than most shops I've seen, they have a vet staff aswell. However, I wouldn't go there for anything other than boots. Their selection blows.
seriously? go to Ken Jones in south nashua....Jeff Proctor I believe. its one of the Jeff's. He hooked me up real nice with spks the other day. just go in and say i want a boot that is best for me can you help
