obama is going to legalize it that way but it is a petition someone created and CNN today is backing it. It is simply a public stance by CNN today. This has been going on for like a month now. We passed a million already its just not going to happen that way. We need to inform the public of the lies of propaganda to legalize cannabis. Start by sharing the truth about cannabis, that is the first step. Then get people to right to your state senators and then its not in our hands
 
Yeah, I googled it back when I did the survey. I hate to see what they could actually do if they were scammers, I heard that by pressing pound, you could unknowingly agree to something and have your phone bill charged a large sum. It appears to be safe though, it has been around for a while and no one has been hurt by it.

Other than that, I think it's really not going to get anything close to legalized, but it is fun to do anyways.
 
no, i think that is a cover. Think about the lumber, alcohol, tobacco, private jail, DEA, and the pharmacitical industry is affected. Where do some the richest people in the world come from (well not the DEA) or invest in. Cannabis prohibition is keeping 100 Elites billionares and giving them lots of power. These elites aren't the nicest of people and wouldn't reveal the truth about cannbis and its wonders for the sake for what is right. They have worked too hard to get there power so why would they let cannabis ruin it.

When we legalize cannabis, it will affect the umber, alcohol, tobacco, private jail, DEA, and the pharmacitical industries the most. Remember the union towards the end they talk about this. Taxing it is not really the problem, they taxed hemp growing in the 1800's. They can tax cannabis on an industrial scale, but they can't tax the family growing a few plants in the garden, but most of the money will be coming through the industrial scaled cannabis growing and selling. That can be taxed with a few laws.
 
obama will consider with 1 million votes? Lets see, that is about... .3% of american citizens. not even 1%. There is no way in hell this will ever work. sure, maybe he will "consider" it, but one million votes, by text message, is hardly a reliable majority. The fact that obama is putting something as serious as legalizing a drug to a vote by text message is laughable if true. Leave text message voting for the x games, keep it out of politics.
 
This number isnt an official vote. Its sponsored by the same company that does the rejection hotline and alot of other joke numbers that are similar to it. However, the company that is running it says that it isnt a joke or scam and that when they get over a million calls, that they are going to present it to obama. So its not a scam, but its not really official either.
 
Remember everyone voting for obama because they thought he'd legalize it? I was like, sure..... Then he got elected and didn't even try for it.

There is way to much control involved in the drug war. Why in an age where they keep passing more laws for more control, would they start giving it away?
 
1 vote = 10 people. because for a lot of people, although they like the idea, wouldnt actually take the time to vote, so one vote represents a larger amount of people.

That number is from a north new jersey area code and is totally worthless. honestly, people. it's run by humor hotlines..the same company that runs the reject hotlines that high school girls give the number to ugly dudes hitting on them. if you want to actually do something, write a letter to your senator or something...

sorry for the dub post, but i didnt read that article thing on show me the facts...

i mean the number is probably still next to worthless, but at least the president of the company or whatever said they're at least not scamming and that they're gonna send a petition once they have 1 mil votes.
 
You'd sound like you knew what you were talking about more if you didn't just regurgitate The Union.
