Legality of urban?

Anyone know how much trouble I'd risk getting in hitting some of the urban around my college campus? There are some awesome rails and ledges that I'd love to hit this winter. Is urban generally a risky activity? And what's the best way to avoid getting expelled/arrested if I so choose to hit these beautiful features?
 
Not necessarily risky. Around University they usually have the college "police" that will just ask you to leave. Be polite about it and say you will clean up and they won't give you trouble about it. Not arguing is key because you can't win, give them attitude and they will probably slap you a nice ticket.
 
All depends on time of day and your campus and what your hitting. If you hit something that would be considered an "artifact" at your college you could get destruction of property. Could get your gear taken, def heard of that happening. But if your nice and say you'll leave they are usually chill about it.

Xmas break is a good time to try.
 
I've met Security that was super stoked that we were skiing, and i've met security that was just plain pissed off. usually if you just respect them and tell them you'll clean up and leave without giving them lip everything will go smooth.

it just depends on the police. some think its cool what your doing and some are just straight dicks.
 
CAMPUS POLICE IS A JOKE. BUT IF THEY SHOW UP, JUST LEAVE AND DONT GET LIPPY, CAUSE THEY CAN PROBABLY FINE YOU OR SOMETHING. BUT THE CAMPUS POLICE IS NOTHING TO BE SCARED OF.

IF THE REGULAR POPO SHOWS UP BE VERY POLITE AND CLEAN UP WELL.
